 turns every show into a space of radical inclusion and catharsis.Latter is
  a Chicago-based noise rock project formed by chance in 2022 by Philadelph
 ia born sound artist Meredith Haines and drummer Jonathan Alvarado (Beach 
 Bunny). After a decade in the Philadelphia DIY scene\, Haines had stepped 
 away from music entirely- burned out and building a new life as a sound ar
 tist and college advisor. A spontaneous connection with Alvarado sparked w
 eekly jam sessions that quickly evolved into a raw and unique collaboratio
 n. Drawing from Haines' background in both sound art and modern dance\, th
 e band's performances blur the lines between noise rock\, performance art\
 , and sound art\, pushing beyond genre through a volatile mix of tension a
 nd vulnerability.
