DESCRIPTION:\nLike every year the Utrechtsch Student orchestra will go on t
 our at the end of April\, this year we have the pleasure of visiting Müns
 ter\, Hamburg and Copenhagen. During our tour we're giving free concerts i
 n each of the cities.\n\nThe Utrechtsch Student Orchestra (USConcert) stan
 ds at the crossroads of youth and tradition: founded in 1823\, it is the o
 ldest symphony orchestra in the Netherlands\, yet this student orchestra w
 ill always remain young at heart. On the 29th of April in the Culturkirche
  Altona at 20:00  the Utrecht student orchestra will be playing the Sorcer
 er's apprentice by Paul Ducas\, the Tempest by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Scheh
 erezade by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov\, conducted by Bas Pollard.\n\nSorcerer
 's apprentice is a symphonic poem that became widely known due to its usag
 e in the Disney film Fantasia. The Tempest is a symphonic fantasia based o
 n the play 'The Tempest' by Shakespeare with beautiful love music resembli
 ng Romeo and Juliet. And finally the famous Scheherezade is a symphonic su
 ite based on One thousand and one nights. Scheherezade refers to the main 
 character Scheherezade and can be heard in the solo's played by the princi
 pal first violinist.
